The pegs are some small metal bars that are screwed on the axles of the wheels to help you to grind on rails or ramps. Very oftently installed on the front and rear wheel of the BMX, the pegs can be built either in Aluminum or Steel with or without a plastic sleeve (plastic pegs).
For the hubguards, these are small discs which are intended to protect the hubs of the wheels. They are built in metal with or without a plastic sleeve (plastic hubguards). There are specific hubguards for the front hubs (front hubguards) and rear hubs (rear hubguards).
