In BMX, the TRIPOD seats comes in the same shape as a pivotal seat and generally offers the same technical specificities except the fixation system to the seat post. It is a screw that is fixed from the underside of the upper part of the seat post. Only 2 degrees of inclination are possible but there is no slot (pivotal system) on the top of the seat, which makes it more "clean". You have to fix the seat with a Tripod seat.
