Most of the BMX cranks are in 3 pieces : The 2 "arms" and the axle. The axle can be in 8 or 48 spindles and can also be in diameter of 19mm, 22mm or 24mm. The thicker the axle, the stronger it is. We advice to check also to choose same diameter for crank and bottom brackets bearings.
The crank can have different lengths : From 155mm to 185mm (the standard is 175mm). We advise you to filter the length on the left. If you ride Street, the best is to choose short cranks so the heels don't touch the pegs.
